Pilot Project (White Teeth)
Between March and June 2025, I ran a group consisting of eight sessions with three upper intermediate/advanced students. You can read about one student’s experience below.
ESTELLE
The book club hosted by Richard was a great experience ! It was not only a chance to read a good book, but also an opportunity to practice our english. We were all genuinely looking forward to each session.
Richard is a wonderful host: he guides discussions in a way that keeps everyone involved. Also, reading a book slowly over several weeks allowed the story to unfold at just the right pace and opened the door to deep, thought-provoking discussions. Hearing everyone’s interpretations helped me see the book from perspectives I would never have seen on my own.
I truly hope there will be another book club in the future ! Thanks a lot Rich
